A crowd sourced Halal restaurant tracking platform.
Halal Tracker was originally developed for the Muslim Students Association of Australian National University. We made this app to help new students find on campus prayer rooms and share reviews of restaurants which are known as halal.
Initially Halal Tracker was only available in Canberra, but Alhamdulillah, with the help from students from Melbourne University we have managed to expand to other cities.
How can you contribute ?
You can help us by:
- adding prayer rooms, masajid and restaurants which are missing in our database
- updating the halal-ness profiles of the existing restaurants (ie partially halal, pork free, Muslim owner etc)
- and request for features which you would like to have in future versions :)
Upcoming features inshaAllah:
1. Find Halal meat and filter by method of slaughter (hand or machine)
2. Filter restaurants by their level of "halal-ness" (example: show restaurants with full halal menu)
3. Azan Times
